PATTERN & TEXTILE DESIGN

A recent development into woven furnishings has lead to a capsule collection of pillows, inspired by the Blocks & Stripes patterns. Woven in Bahdohi out of fine worsted spun NZ wool, giving a soft and smooth quality and texture.

CHERRY BLOSSOM GARDEN: This is a watercolour pattern created on a stained inky background with delicate hand drawn cherry trees and sun birds. Available by the meter on silk or cotton linens. Silk wall panels are also available.

Layered patterns in the Blocks & Stripes collection of quilts and cushions, cosy up with soft tufted hand finished quilts in deep hues of brick, yellow ochres, browns to indigo and dusty blues.

Rolling Clouds is a new edition to the Oriental Canada collection, inspired by the works of Japanese artists in the Edo period – 1603-1867. A period of unprecendented peace, political stability and econonic growth in Japan. This period defined much of the traditional culture and art in Japan.
